The Department of Recreation and Youth Services exists to provide recreation and leisure services to children, teens, families, seniors, and neighborhoods in the City of Dayton. We are dedicated professionals organized into the divisions of the Director’s Office, Recreation, and Golf.
The Director’s Office, controlled by the City Manager, provides administrative, fiscal, and policy support to manage the department’s programs, events, and partnerships.
The Division of Recreation manages and operates the City’s recreation centers, swimming pools, baseball/softball diamonds, spray grounds and all the programs and events that are held at these facilities.
The Division of Golf operates the area’s best public golf courses at Community, Kittyhawk, and Madden golf facilities- each of which is supported by full-service Pro shops and restaurants. |
