Name:"Summer in the City" Pee Wee Camp for Ages 3-5

Program Description:


Even the little ones need to have a great summer break. Bring your pre-schoolers ages 3 to 5 years of age to our Pee Wee Camp so they can develop school readiness skills through an age-appropriate curriculum and have a super fun-filled day. Naps are included and so is breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack! The camp will be held at the Northwest and Lohrey Recreation Centers. The themes for this camp will be like the big kids "Summer in the City," but pre-schooled sized!

What’s My Footprint?



Campers learn all about how to be ecologically correct and how our carbon footprint affects life in the City. We’ll explore different ways to move about the city and save gas.



June 21-25


All Star Originals



Campers will learn what it means to be a part of a team, participate in an Olympic Field day, and discover famous Dayton Athletes.



June 29-July 2


Dayton Patented



Campers learn about Dayton inventors and inventions and get the opportunity to create their own original inventions.

Pollution Solutions



Campers learn to protect their environment and the value of recycling and living "green"

Water, Water Everywhere and Not a Drop


to Drink



Dayton has a natural source of water and campers will learn about the value of clean water for playing and drinking...mostly playing!

Old McDonald’s Farm in the City



Campers will learn where food comes from and how you can grow and eat healthy food, even in the City!

Come, Fly with Me



Flight is a Dayton original and campers will learn about the Wright Brothers and the science behind the wonder of flying.



August 2-6


All Around Dayton



All things that are great in Dayton…campers will explore fascinating parts of the city on supervised scavenger hunts.
